This position is one of two new Parks Maintenance Worker II positions that were a
authorized by the Mayor and Common Council on December 7, 2015 resolution#2015-
272 as part of the new city Quality of Life Team.
Mr. Sapien is a departmental re-hire that was laid off on 07/31/2014 as part of the"Force
Reduction" proceedings. In accordance with Civil Service Rule5111, Step 21 - $3,663
monthly is requested as this is the step Mr. Sapien was on at the time of lay off.
