The project consists of installing a relief line to eliminate the inverted siphon. Below is an estimate of the total project cost: Construction Contract $ 40, 460 Engineering & Inspection (W.O. # ) 5, 000 Sub-..Total $ 45, 460 Contingencies (100) ± _ 4, 540 TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 50,000 An understanding has been reached with the County for each agency to allocate $25 ,000 in CDBG Funds to finance 1/2 of the total project cost. A cooperative agreement is being negotiated and is scheduled to be presented to the Commission for approval on 12-6- 93 . The allocation of $25, 000 from CDBG Funds to finance the City' s 1/2 share of the total project cost was approved at the Community Development Commission' s meeting of 9-20-93 . We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization granted to advertise for bids. s= 11-10-93
