Synopsis of Previous Council Action:
On April 1, 1996, the Mayor and Common Council approved a resolution implementing a
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of San Bernardino and employees in
the General Unit represented by San Bernardino Public Employees' Association (SBPEA).
Per Article III, Compensation, Section 1, Salaries, a two percent (2%) salary increase is
effective July 1, 1996, for all members.

Adopt resolution.

STAFF REPORT
On April 1, 1996, the Mayor and Common Council approved a resolution implementing a
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of San Bernardino and employees in
the General Unit represented by San Bernardino Public Employees' Association (SBPEA).
Per Article III, Compensation, Section 1, Salaries, a two percent (2%) salary increase shall
become effective July 1, 1996, for all unit employees.
The attached resolution implements the two percent (2%) increase approved by the Mayor and
Common Council.
