Recommended motion:

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
Plans for installation of curb cuts along Del Rosa Drive,
and drainage adjacent to Tippecanoe Avenue, on the former Norton
A.F.B. have been prepared pursuant to a letter from William L.
Bopf, Executive Director, dated 12-18-95 , and the project is
ready to be advertised for bids . The project consists , in
general , of removing existing curb and gutter in preparation of
installing a commercial driveway along Del Rosa Drive, and in-
stalling catch basins and storm drain laterals along interior
streets adjacent to Tippecanoe Avenue.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost,:
Construction Contract $ 36 ,545
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1993) 3 , 654
Sub-Total $ 40 , 199
Contingencies (15%) ± 6 , 801
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 47 , 000
All costs incurred will be charged to Account No. 242--
362-5504-199X� and billed to IVDA. Funding for this project will
be provided from the grant by the Federal Economic Development
Administration (75%) and the Inland Valley Development Agency
(25%) .
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids .
