Q Mr. Okeson began his career with San Bernardino City Fire in February 2007 as a Firefighter in November 2004. He later promoted to Paramedic/Firefighter in April 2009. Mr. Okeson is the next top candidate for this position having successfully completed a competive testing process, involving a written, oral and tactical exercise. Since being vacated in September, 2015, the Finance Department has felt a critical need to fill this position as such action will help alleviate current workload. a After carrying out the recruitment process in search for a suitable fit, Mayra Aldaco was deemed the most qualified for the department's current needs. She exhibited self- confidence, motivation, and understanding of the accounting functions needed to be successful in this capacity.
