STAFF REPORT
Attached is a request from Easter Seal Society of Inland Counties
for a waiver of fees in connection with a fund raising block party
sponsored by Dales Modern Cycles with proceeds to the Easter Seal
Society, on November 4, 1995.
The departmental costs for this event for City personnel, equipment
and materials are estimated as follows:
Police -- $340 (police assistance in road closure)
Traffic Engineering -- $50 (barricades)
The total cost of these services is $390. 00

Dear Ms. Clark,
The Easter Seal Society of the Inland Counties is requesting to be
placed on the agenda of the next City Council meeting scheduled for
Monday, October 16, 1995.
We wish to request a waiver of all city fees for a fund raising event
scheduled for Saturday, November 4, 1995. This will be a Street
Party sponsored by Dale's Modern Cycles with the proceeds to
benefit the Easter Seal Society.
Easter Seals is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. We are
supported by contributions and fund raising events such as this. Your
consideration of our request is deeply appreciated.
Please notify us as to the item number we will be on the agenda and
thank you again for your consideration.
