STAFF REPORT
Attached is a letter from Congregation Emanu El requesting a waiver
of fees and use of City forces and equipment in connection with
their anniversary celebration scheduled from 1: 00 to 3 : 00 p.m. , on
Sunday, October 22 , 1995.
The departmental costs for this event for personnel, labor and
materials are estimated as follows:

Police -- $1, 038 . 80 (police assistance in road closure)
Traffic Engineering -- $500 (barricades)
Public Services -- $137 (street sweeping, refuse)
The total cost of these services is $1, 675. 80

procession that will begin at the Temple, go north on "E" and around

San Bernardino to ask for police assistance. Rabbi Cohn has spoken to Councilman
Member Devlin. He saw no problem but said we needed to get the ball rolling by
