Bids for the improvement of San Bernardino Avenue, from
Richardson Avenue to Mt View Avenue were received on Tuesday,
10-10-95 , at 2 00 p.m.
A total of 14 bids were received . ranging from
$199 , 102 . 20 to $318 543 . 12 . The low bid of $199 102 ,. 20 is 9 . 6%
below the Engineer' s Estimate of $220 ; 310 . 00 .
Below is the total estimated project cost based on the
actual low bid price:

URGENCY CLAUSE:
The rainy season will commence in approximately 6 weeks, and it
is vital that these street improvements be done prior to a major
storm in order to protect the homes that were damaged last year.
