STAFF REPORT
The City has provided bicycle racks outside the buildings to
safely park bicycles for those individuals who use or enjoy that
method of transportation. However, from time to time people still
feel the need to bring their bicycles inside the building. when
left or parked within the buildings, such bicycles constitute a
hazard to pedestrian travel especially in the case of emergency
exit .
The proposed ordinance would clearly prohibit the entrance of
bicycles into the building except in the specified circumstances .
It is recommended that further reading of the ordinance be
waived and the ordinance be layed over for final adoption.
