No.) (Acct Description) Finance: Council Notes: 75.0262 Agenda Item No.— � - 0 1 ORDINANCE NO. 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ADDING CHAPTER 8. 10 TO THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE 3 PROVISION OF EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE BY THE CITY TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE CITY 4 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO 5 DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 6 SECTION 1. Chapter 8. 10 is hereby added to the San 7 Bernardino Municipal Code to read as follows: 8 "Section 8. 10.010. Ambulance Services. 9 Within 190 days of the effective date of this section, 10 the City shall provide emergency ambulance service to 11 the residents of the City of San Bernardino through 12 employees of the San Bernardino Fire Department. In 13 providing such service, the City may lease rather than 14 purchase such ambulances.
