Reconsideration of the continuance of the request from Casa Ramona, Inc . , for funding and waiver of applicable City fees - - $17, 330 -- Mexican Independence Day Castillo Celebration -- September 15, 1994 -- Seccombe Lake Park. (See Attached) (Cost to City -- $17, 330 from Civic and Promotion Fund. ) MOTION: That reconsideration of the continuance of the #1 request from Casa Ramona, Inc. , for $17, 330 in civic/promotional funding for the Castillo Day celebration on September 15, 1994, at Seccombe Lake Park and waiver of applicable City fees, be approved; and MOTION: That a total of $17, 330 be granted to Casa Ramona, 12 Inc . , for the purpose of conducting an Independence Day Castillo on September 15, 1994, at Seccombe Lake Park; and MOTION: That the sum of $12 , 950 be paid directly to Casa 13 Ramona, Inc . , to help defray the costs associated with this event; and (See next page for additional motions) 4 8/18/94 13 . MOTION: That all applicable City fees ($4 , 380) be waived in 14 support of this event; and MOTION: That the City Administrator be authorized and #5 directed to enter into an agreement with Casa Ramona, Inc . , relative to the Independence Day Castillo celebration. 14 . Request for civic/promotional funding -- $23 , 586 -- 16th of September celebration -- Hispanic Chamber of Commerce . (See Attached) (Cost to City -- $23, 586 from Civic and Promotion Fund. ) MOTION: That the request for civic and promotional funding by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in the amount of $23 , 586 to support their 16th of September celebration, be denied. 15 .
