RE: Designation of Voting Delegate for League of California Cities Annual
Conference - October 23 through 25, 1994, Long Beach, California
The League of California Cities Annual Conference is scheduled to take place Sunday, October
23, through Tuesday, October 25, 1994, in Long Beach.
One very important aspect of the Annual Conference is the General Business Meeting when the
membership takes action on conference resolutions. To expedite the conduct of business at the
above-referenced policy-making meeting, the League has requested that each City designate a
voting representative and an alternate who will be present at the General Business Meeting on
Tuesday, October 25, 1994 at 9:30 a.m., at the Long Beach Convention Center.
Since Mayor Minor does not plan to attend this year's Conference, the Mayor and Council need
to designate their respective voting and alternate voting delegates so that the voting delegate form
can be returned to the League prior to the September 30, 1994 deadline. If the Mayor and
Council choose not to attend the conference but will be represented by other City officials, one
of them should be designated the voting delegate or alternate.
