STAFF REPORT
AUTHORIZATION FOR OUT-OF-STATE
TRAVEL FOR AUDREE TAYLOR, SR.
RECREATION SUPERVISOR AND ANN
KASSEL, COMMUNITY CENTER MANAGER
II, TO ATTEND THE NATIONAL RECREATION
AND PARKS ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE IN
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA ON OCTOBER 10-16, 1994.
Senior Recreation Supervisor Audree Taylor and Ann Kassel, Community Center Manager
II, have requested to attend the National Recreation and Parks Association Conference in
Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 10-16, 1994. These employees will be paying the full
cost for this conference since there is no money in the Recreation Division Budget. This
conference will provide an educational opportunity from which the department and the City
as well as the employees will benefit. The employees' interest in attending this conference
at their own expense allows the division an opportunity to continue to be knowledgeable
about current trends in the profession for which it was not otherwise budgeted.
Approval is recommended.
