Distr. ) June 14, 1993 Synopsis of Previous Council action: 8-19-86 --- Resolution No. 86-341, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council, found that the public interest, convenience and necessity required the formation of a landscaping maintenance district . 8-4-86 --- Resolution No. 86-322, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council, declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district will be benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping. 1-5-87 --- Resolution No. 87-9, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council , found that the public interest, convenience and necessity required the amendment of the boundaries of the District by expanding the boundaries thereof to include additional territory in the District. P4 I A i32 Al ! |��� 7! r, 19�%||, �IH15,f!|il !� i 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2 Rl �OLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1993-94 ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 976, LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE, PINK: I Q 3 BELMONT AREA. 4 5 iJiEREAS, by Resolution No. 86-341, the Mayor and Common Council found 6 that the public interest, convenience, and necessity required the formal ' in 7 of a landscaping maintenance district; and 8 WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 86-341, the Mayor and Common Cori,,t.i it 9 formed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 976 for the 10 purpose of providing landscaping maintenance in the area of Pine and Belm;:rrt 11 Avenues pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino 12 City Municipal Code; and 13 14 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 86-322, the Mayor and Common Council declared 15 that all the land included within the boundaries of said district will 'he 16 benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping; and 17 WHEREAS, said Resolution No.86-322 declared that an annual assessment 18 shall be levied on all land within the district to provide funding for said 19 landscaping maintenance and the administration thereof; and 20 21 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 87-9, the Mayor and Common Council declared 22 that the public interest and necessity required the amendment of the boup;la- 23 r.ies of the District by expanding the boundaries thereof to include addition- 24 al territory in the District; and 25 26 27 28 06/14/93 RESOLUTION APPRV. 1993 ASSES ROLL AD976 0 1 WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totaling $45,902.97 wh; :h 2 sc,ts forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the parcels of 3 land within Assessment District No. 976 for the fiscal year 1993-94; 4 5 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 6 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 7 8 SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and deter- 9 mine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of L.md 10 vithin Assessment District No. 976 are correctly set forth on Assessment 11 Roll No. 976 for the fiscal year 1993-94, designated as Exhibit "A" nd 12 attached hereto, and do hereby confirm said assessments. 13 14 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of tills 15 RF!solution to be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller for the 16 County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual assessments be 17 placed on the subject 1993-94 property tax bills for collection together with 18 all other property taxes. 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 06/14/93 2 RESOLUTION APPRV. 1993 ASSES.
