Elections Code 22805 requires that the governing body of the City shall appoint one inspector, one judge and two clerks as election officers for each precinct. There will be 17 polling places for the September 14 , 1993 Special Municipal Election and the estimated costs are as follows: 1. *Rental of ten polling places @ $60 each $ 600 2. 17 Inspectors @ $70 each 1, 190 3 . 34 Clerks (2 per polling place) @ $55 each 1,870 4 . 17 Judges @ $55 each 935 $4 ,595 *Although, we will have 17 polling places, six of these are City facilities, i.e. , fire station, community centers. One polling place waived the $60 rental fee. The polling place locations are the same as used in the May 4th General Election, with the exception of one (1) polling place which has been changed. The change is as follows: 1. Consolidated Voting Precinct No. 9, consisting of Precinct Number 560175, 560251 New Polling Place: Rowley Residence, 1483 Lake Placid Drive Former Polling Place: Acacia Park Apartments, 5280 N. Little Mountain Drive Reason for change: Voters had difficulty finding the entrance to the building and the assigned apartment for voting. The funds have been included in the Special Municipal Elections Account and I recommend that the Mayor and Common Council adopt the attached resolution. 75.0264 A RESOLUTION NO. 1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO APPOINTING ELECTION 2 OFFICERS AND DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES PURSUANT TO SECTION 2.56. 110 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE FOR THE SPECIAL 3 MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD SEPTEMBER 14, 1993 . 4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 5 6 SECTION 1.
