Action
The proposed ordinance of the City of San Bernardino providing zoning designation
C-M, Commercial Manufacturing District, for certain described property (Prezone
86-11, bounded on the east by Tippecanoe Avenue, on the south by the I-10 Freeway,
on the west by Orchard Drive and on the north by the existing City Limit Boundary) ,
and adopting the Negative Declaration for Environmental Review, was continued to
March 21,._1988.

Council Member Reilly made a motion, seconded by
Council Member Flores and unanimously carried, that said
resolution be adopted.
Resolution No. 87-206 was adopted by the following
vote: Ayes: Council Members Estrada, Reilly, Flores,
Maudsley, Minor, Pope-Ludlam, Miller. Noes: None. Ab-
sent: None.
READING AND WAIVING OF ORDINANCES ON THE AGENDA
City Clerk Clark read the titles of the ordinances on
the Council Agenda.
Council Member Pope-Ludlam made a motion, seconded by
Council Member Estrada and unanimously carried, that fur-
ther reading of the ordinances be waived.

EXISTING CITY LIMIT BOUNDARY) , AND ADOPT-

City Attorney Penman stated that the proposed zone
change is under the Phase 3 Extension from the Office of
Planning and Research and, therefore, is under court
order.
City Clerk Clark answered questions regarding time
limits between first and final readings of ordinances.
City Attorney Penman stated that there is a minimum
time limit between first and final readings of ordinances,
but that it is unclear if there is a maximum time limit
regulation.
Council Member Reilly made a motion, seconded by
Council Member Flores and unanimously carried, that the
ordinance be continued to the July 6, 1987, meeting of the
Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino,
because this ordinance is subject to Phase 3 of the OPR
extension, and for clarification.

8 SECTION 1 . Prezoning of Certain Territory.
9 The following described property, bounced on the east by
10 Tippecanoe Avenue , on the south by the I-10 freeway, on the west
11 by Orchard Drive and on the north by the existing City limit
12 boundary, is declared to be in the C-M, Commercial Yanufacturing
13 District, effective on the effective date of annexation of �:ze
14 property to the City of San Bernardino.
15 The land herein referred to as being annexed to the
City of San Bernardino is more particularly described
16 as follows , to wit:
17 All of Tract 2743 as per plat recorded in Book 38
of Maps , page 47 records of the County Recorder
18 of San Bernardino County, State of California
and that portion of Lot 5 , Block 72 Rancho San
19 Bernardino recorded in Book 7 of Maps , page 2
records of said County together with the adjoining
20 streets described as follows :
21 Commencing at the point of intersection of the
Northwesterly right-of-way line for I-10 (Redlands)
22 Freeway and the center line of Tippecanoe Avenue,
said point being also Point "A" ; thence Course "A"
23 Southwesterly along said Northeasterly prolongation
and said Northwest right-of-way line a distance of
24 1400 feet, more or less , to an angle point on the
City Limit Line for the City of San Bernardino, said
25 point being the True Point of Beginning; thence
North along said City Limit Line 1100 feet, more
26 or less , to an angle point in said City Limit Line ;
thence East along said City Limit Line 1375 feet,
27 more or less, to an angle point in said City Limit
Line said point being also the center line of said
28 Tippecanoe Avenue , thence leaving said City Limit
1 Line South along said center line 775 feet, more
or less , to said Point "A" ; thence Course "A"

5 SECTION 2 . The negative declaration for environmental-
6 review, as adopted by the Environmental Review Committee,

8 by reference , is hereby approved and adopted.

10 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
11 San Bernardino at a meeting thereof, held
