REF: REZONING
THE CHANGE IN ZONING BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PARCEL
WEST OF THE PROPERTY AT 2151 RIALTO AVE.
WE PROTEST THE CHANGE FROM R--1 TO PRD ZONING.
THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL HOUSES OF SMALLER STRUCTURE, AT CHEAPER
PRICES FOR MORE FAMILIES. THIS WOULD SURELY IMPACT THE AREA.
LOW INCOME HOUSEING IS NOT THE NEED OF THE AREA. INDUSTRY IS A
MAIN CONCERN-,THEN IAW INCOME HOUSING WOULD NOT BE NECESSARY.
WE BELEIVE THE CURRENT ZONING IS ADAQUATE FOR THE DEVELOPER TO
MAKE A PROFIT AND STILL ENHANCE THE AREA.

re: CHANGE OF ZONE # 87-9
GENTLEMEN;
We would like to express our grave concern with the proposed
zoning change as referenced above. Our feelings are that this would
be extremely detrimental to the community due the fact that the density
is so high.
We do not object to the construction of new homes. . . . . . .
only the density of the same.
Your consideration in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Dear Sir:
Regarding the change in zoning before the Planning Commission
on the parr_elWest of my property at2151 Rialto Ave. ,
I firmly protest the change from R1 to PRI) zoning. It is my
understanding that PRD allows 7 residents per acre but also could
allow other than single family resident buildings_ It would seem
then that there could be a move to go from planned residents of 7
per acre to apartments. Not only that,, but to go from 5 (or b)
to 7 per acre means that there will be additional houses of
smaller structure, " of less price for more families. Certainly,
this woUl d impact the area.
I believE-? the Current :_oning is adaquate for the developer to
malce a profit and still enhance the area.
Sincerely,
Alfred Montanari

Subject : Change of Zone No. 87-9
We are property owners directly South of the property where
the applicant requests a zoning change from R-1-7200 to PRD-7.
We very strongly object the zoning change. The reasons for
the protest are listed as follows:
1. High Density of the area. ,There are several big
complexes in the area at this time.
2. Crime Activity. There is a high crime area - drugs ,
burglary , petty theft.
3. Schools. The property is within Rialto School District,
The Schools are already at a maximum peak load for
their population limit.
A zoning change from R-1-7200 to PRD-7 will add one more home
per acre. It means 20 more homes for the development and it will
be atleast 100 more people in these area. It would only add more
problems to ones we already have.
Please keep the zoning as is , R-1-7200.
Thank You ,
Henry Stie
