permits as owner/builder for rehab of YWCA Bldg. and waived fees required.

On January 4, 1988, the Community Development Commission directed Agency staff to
begin procedures needed to convey the Real Property located at 566 North Lugo Avenue,
(known as the YWCA Bldg.) APN 135-061-10 to the City of San Bernardino for 11.00. A
joint public hearing will be necessary for this transfer.
A complete summary of financial aspects will be prepared and made available for the
Hearing.
In February 1984, the YWCA deposited with the Redevelopment Agency $500.00
representing their interest to purchase the building at 566 North Lugo Avenue. In
June, 1986 they deposited an additional 14,500.00 (thereby making a total deposit of
$5,000) on the property.
On October 19, 1987, the Mayor and Common Council/Community Development Commission
continued the sale of the building from the Redevelopment Agency to the YWCA. On
January 4, 1988, the Mayor and Common Council/Community Development Commission
directed that the Agency initiate actions for the conveyance of this property to the
City.
It is therefore, appropriate to return the $5,000.00 deposit to the YWCA.
