2 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIAGONAL
3 PARKING ON THE WEST SIDE OF "D" STREET, FROM 7TH STREET TO 8TH
STREET, IN FRONT OF THE POLICE STATION BUILDING AT 710 N. "D"
4 STREET.

6 WHEREAS, the San Bernardino Police Department has requested diagonal parking
7 along the west side of"D" Street at 710 N. "D" Street in front of the Police Station to create
8 additional spaces, accommodate visitors, and improve accessibility; and
9 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department, Engineering Division has determined that
10
"D" street is wide enough at this location to add diagonal parking on the west side of the
11
12 street.
13 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

15 SECTION 1. The Public Works Department is hereby authorized and directed to
16 establish diagonal parking on the west side of"D" Street, from 7th Street to 8th Street in front
17 of the Police Station Building at 710 N. "D" Street, as shown in Exhibit "A", attached and
18 incorporated herein.
