3 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACTS OF THE PRIMARY
4 MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON THE 3RD DAY OF
5 NOVEMBER 2015, DECLARING THE RESULTS THEREOF AND SETTING FORTH
SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS ARE PROVIDED BY LAW.

7 WHEREAS, a Primary Municipal Election was held and conducted in the City of San
8 Bernardino on the 3rd day of November, 2015, as required by law; and
9 WHEREAS, notice of said elections were duly and regularly given in the time, form and
to
manner as provided by law; voting precincts were properly established; election officers were
11
12 appointed and in all respects said elections were held and the returns made and declared in the
13 time, form, and manner as required by the provisions of the Charter of the City of San
14 Bernardino and the Elections Code of the State of California for the holding of public elections in
15 the City of San Bernardino; and
16
WHEREAS,the Registrar of Voters of the County of San Bernardino canvassed the
17
18 returns of said elections and has certified the results to this City Council and said results are
19 received, attached and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A;"
20 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
21
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That on November 3, 2015, there were 67,961 registered voters in the City
23
24 of San Bernardino.
25 SECTION 2. That there were 176 voting precincts and 22 polling places established for
26
the purpose of holding said elections.

1 SECTION 3. That said Primary Municipal Election was held for the purpose of
2 electing the Council Member for Ward Three; Council Member for Ward Five, Council Member
3
for Ward Six, Council Member for Ward Seven, City Attorney, City Treasurer and City Clerk;
4
and
5
6 SECTION 4. That the total of all votes cast in said City elections was 8,465, for a voter
7 turnout of 12.58 percent.

SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall enter on the records of the City Council of said
9
City a statement of the results of the General Municipal Election held on the 3rd day of
10
11 November, 2015.
12 SECTION 6. That the Mayor and Common Council hereby declare the results of said
13 elections as certified by the County Registrar of Voters, as stated in Exhibit "A" attached hereto,

as official.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the Mayor and

6 Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a joint regular meeting thereof, held on the
