Synopsis of Previous Council Action:
On February 17, 2015, the Mayor and Common Council approved the motion to
designate Council Member Mulvihill as the delegate and Council Member Barrios as the
alternate delegate for the 2015 Southern California Association of Governments'
(SCAG) 50th Annual Regional Conference and General Assembly.
Background:
Council Member Nickel and Council Member Mulvihill both attended the 2015 Southern
California Association of Governments' (SCAG) 50th Annual Regional Conference and
General Assembly.
The Southern California Association of Governments' (SCAG) 50th Annual Regional
Conference and General Assembly, "Celebrating our Past; Envisioning Our Future" was
held May 7 - 8, 2015 at the J.W. Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert,
California.
Each year, SCAG's member cities select a Delegate and/ or Alternate to represent their
city to participate at this Annual Meeting. There is no registration charge for elected
officials.
The General Assembly meets once a year and it is the only meeting of SCAG's entire
membership.
