BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 1' YOR AND COMvzON COUNCIL OF 'THE CITY OF SAN BERD42DINO: SECTION 1 . That the Mayor or and Common y L n Council of the City of San Bernardino, having heard the evidence offered in relation to the E proposed vacation of alleys lying between 1%.'t . View avenue and lizrow- head Avenue, Second Street and King Street; alleys lying between `+ Tenth Street and Eleventh Street, West of Wall Street to a point approximately 306.2 feet west of the west line of said 'V!all Street; an alley lying north of Fifth Street, east of Flores atreet to a point approximately 140 feet east of the east line of said Flores Street; an East-West alley lying between Fifth Street and Spruce Street, and "I" Street and "J" Street ; an East-West alley lying be- tween King Street and Second Street and I•-t . Vernon Avenue and Pico rivenue; iilleys lying between "I" Street and the State Highway Right of Way south of Esperanza Street ; an East-West, North-South alley lying between "K" Street and Perris Street, south of Ninth Street; a North--South alley lying between "K" Street and "L" Street, North of Eighth Street, to a point approximately 100 feet north of the north line of said Eighth ;street; an East-West alley lying between "J" Street and Perris Street , south of Eighth Street; an East-West alley lying between Eleventh Street and Clive Street, and the North- South Freewav west of "H" Street, more particularly described in .Resolution of Intention, Resolution No. 8168, hereby finds from all of the evidence submitted that alleys lying between Mt . View x,venue and Arrowhead r_venue, Second Street and King Street ; alleys lyin7 between Tenth Street and Eleventh Street, West of Wall Street to a point approximately 306.2 feet west of the west line of said Wall Street - an alley lying north of Fifth Street, east of Flores Street to a point approximately 140 feet east of the east line of said Flores Street ; an East-"t,v'est alley lying between Fifth Street and Spruce Street , and "I" Street and "J" Street; an East-West alley lying be- tween King Street and Second Street and Yt . Vernon Avenue and Pico Avenue; alleys lying between "l" Street and the State Highway Right of Way south of Esperanza Street; an East-test, North-South alley lying between "K" Street and Perris Street, south of Ninth Street; a North-South alley lying between "K" Street and "L" Street, north of Eighth Street , to a point approximately 100 feet north of the north line of said Eighth Street; an East-West alley lying between "J" Street and Perris Street, south of Eighth Street; an East-pest alley lying between Eleventh Street and Clive Street, and the North-South Freeway west of "H" Street, proposed to be vacated by said resolution is unnecessary for present or prospective public alley purposes. By motion of the Mayor and Common Council that certain East-"!vest alley lying between "G" Street and "F" Street and Evans Street and Six- teenth Street, described in said Resolution No. 8168 as Parcel No. 3 and delineated on Sheet No . 3 of 11 sheets, Plan No. 2945, be deleted. SECTION 2 . That the Mayor and Common Council of said City do hereby order the vacation of the following described alleys : Parcel No. 1 : That certain alley lying within Block 4 of the Bedford Bras . Subdivision as per plat thereof recorded in Book 3 of �`�aps, Page 84, records of the County Recorder of San Bernardino -2- County, State of California, described as follows : Beginning at a point in the Southeast corner of Lot 7 of saJ.d Block 4, said point being on the North line of King Street, delineated as Bridge Street on said map of Bedford Bros. Subdivision; thence Northerly along the East line of said Lot 7 to the most Northerly corner thereof; thence Northeasterly to the most " esterly corner of Lot 8 of said Block 4; thence 11"asterly along the South line of Lots 8, 9 and 10 of said Block 4 to the Southeast corner of said Lot 10, said point being on the West line of Mountain View rvenue; thence Southerly -to the Northeast corner of Lot 1 of said Block 4; thence Westerly along the North line of Lots 1 through 6 inclusive to the Northwest corner of said Lot 6; thence Southerly along the West line of said Lot 6 to the Southwest corner thereof, said point being on the North line of said King Street ; thence Westerly along said North line to the point of beginning. Parcel No. 2 : Those certain alleys lying in Blocks "M" and "N" of the Bungalow Addition No. 2 as per plat thereof recorded in Book 17 of Maps, Page 6, records of the County IRecorder, San Bernar - dino County, State of California, described as follows : Parcel No . A: Beginning at a point on the Southeast corner of Lot 1 of said Block "M", said point being on the West line of =dall Street; thence South along said West line of Wall Street to the North- east corner of Lot 12 of said Block "M"; thence Westerly along the North line of Lots 12, 11, 10, 9, 8 and 7 to the Northwest corner of Lot 7 of said Block "M"; thence Northerly to the Southwest corner of Lot 6 of said Block "M"; thence Easterly along the South line of Lots 6, S, 4, 3, 2 and 1 to the point of beginning. Parcel No. B : Beginning at a point on the Southeast corner of Lot 1 of said Block "N", said point being on the West line of Wall Street; thence South along said West line of Wall Street to the Northeast corner of Lot 12 of said Block "N"; thence Westerly along -3- the North line of Lots 12, 11 , 10, 9, 8 and 7 to the Northwest cor- ner of said Lot 7 of said Block "N"; thence North to the Southwest corner of Lot 6 of said Block "N"; thence Easterly along the South line of Lots 6, 5, 4, 30, 2 and 1 to the point of beginning. Parcel No. 3 : Parcel No. 3 has been deleted from said Resolu- tion No. 8168 by motion of the Mayor and Conmon Council of the City of San. Bernardino. Parcel No. 4 : That certain alley lying within Block "B" of La Gardena Subdivision No. 2, Tract No. 2291, as per plat thereof recorded in Book 33 of Taps, Page 11, records of the County Recorder, San Bernardino County, State of California, as granted for alley purposes by deeds recorded February 10, 1939 in Book 1328, Page 336, Official ,records of said County and in Book 1327, Page 346, Official Records of said County, described as follows : The North 20 feet of Lots 10, 11 and 12, Block "B" of said La Gardena Subdivision No. 2, Tract No. 2291 . Parcel No. 5 : That certain East-West alley lying within Block "B" of the ;eater and Burts Subdivision as per plat thereof recorded in Book 3 of Tromps, Page 57, records of the County :Recorder, San Bernardino County, State of California, described as follows : Beginning at a point in the Southeast corner of Lot 1 of said Block "B"; thence Westerly along the South line of Lots 1 through 13 inclusive to the Southwest corner of said Lot 13, said point being on the East line of "J" Street; thence South along said East line, a distance of 12 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 14 of said Block "B"; thence Easterly along the North line of Lots 14 through 26 inclusive to the Northeast corner of said Lot 26; thence Northerly 12 feet to the point of beginning. Christel- man et-ux by deed recorded October 16, 1963, Document No. 542 in Book 6010, Page 74, Official records of said County; thence Southerly 10 .00 feet more or less to the Northwest corner of that certain par- cel conveyed to Dewey Allen, a single man, by deed recorded September 5, 1963, Document No. 391 in Book 5982, Page 760, Official _records of said County, said point being on the North line of Lot 17 of said -7- Block 1; thence East along the North line of Lots 17 through 24 to the Northeast corner of Lot 24 of said Block 1; thence North 10 .00 feet to the point of beginning. That the City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County t2ecorder of the County of San Bernardino. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and hereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
