"RESOLUTION . FIXING AND ESTABLISHING RATES OF MEDICAL
4 TRANSPORTATION CARRIERS OPERATING WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN
5 BERNARDINO
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
6 OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
7 SECTION 1. Resolution No. 82-328, Section 1, Subsection A,
8 as previously amended by Resolution No. 85-67 and Resolution No.
9 87-282, is hereby further amended to read as follows:
10 "A. Ambulance Rates
11 1. Basic life support response to
a routine non-emergency $285.62

2. Unscheduled emergency call,
13 additional $112.29
14 3. Additional Charges:
15 a. Each mile or fraction
16 of a mile $11.80
b. Waiting time after first
17 fifteen-minute period; for
each subsequent fifteen-
18 minute period, or fraction
19 thereof thereafter $25.23
C. Night surcharge, 7:00 p.m.
20 to 7:00 a.m. Monday through
Friday, or weekend service $80.40

d. Each additional patient, fifty
22 percent over charge for one

AMBULANCE RATES
To consider a request by Courtesy Ambulance for an increase in
ambulance rates charged to the residents of the City. Such
proposed rates are on file with the City Clerk of the City. The
public is invited to attend and to provide input as to whether
these rates should be approved.
