In 2013, Christopher Lopez was promoted to the City Manager's Office to provide professional staff 0'
assistance to the City Manager.Christopher's responsibilities and duties are in line with those of the
Assistant to the City Manager(U)and is why the position was reclassified per Resolution 2014-244.The

position is budgeted and included in the FY 14/15 budget City Manager's Office Budget.
The City Manager's Administration Budget has expensed 17%of its current budgeted amount for this FY, y
due to the lack of filling vacant positions in the City Manager's Budget.

• Coordinated the FY 14/15 Citywide Budget with Finance Staff
• Offset General Fund salaries with restricted funds to make available General Fund
dollars to other departments
• Created budget presentations,worksheets,and documents for Mayor and Common
Council for budget workshops and meetings

Bankruptcy and Financial Transparency
• Created the City's Infrastructure Maintenance Plan for the City's backlog of
maintenance which includes:
o Transportation system, storm drain, public facilities,tree trimming, concrete
repairs,traffic signal maintenance,traffic striping, and fleet replacement to be
addressed over the next 20 years
• Managed the implementation of the City's OpenGov platform which allows residents to
access the City's budget in an interactive manner and coordinate work with operational
departments
• Organized City's Measure Z Committee to allow committee to review audits—something N
