Description) Finance: Council Notes: 75-0262 Agenda Item No. CITY OF SAN BERN91RDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT On October 31, 1993 , members of the D.A.R.E. Unit at the San Bernardino Police Department in conjunction with local businesses and restaurants along Hospitality Line are conducting the second annual fund raising 5 K Run event called "Dash for D.A.R.E. " . They are asking for the City to co-sponsor the event and as such, waive applicable personnel costs and equipment fees. These costs include: Police $203 . 00 3 CSR I 's and 2 CSR II 's Public Works $1,485 (deposit) Labor and equipment placement of 200 cones and 17 barricades Planning & Building $45 temporary banner permit (1 banner) TOTAL COSTS TO BE WAIVED: $1,733
