12/7/92 Mayor and Common Council approved Resolution No. 93-11, amending
resolution No. 6429, entitled in part, "A Resolution . . . establishing a
basic compensation plan for officers and/or employees of the Police and
Fire Departments of the City of San Bernardino . . . "
9/7/93 Mayor and Common Council established salaries for the Police and Fire
Departments.

CITY OF SAN BERNARCOIO - REQUEST FOR -OUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
On September 7, 1993, salaries were established for the following Police Department
salaries:
P-1, P-2, P-3 AND LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINEE
P-4, P-5, P-6 AND P-7
On September 7, 1993, salaries were established for the following Fire Department salaries:
P-1, P-2/PARAMEDIC, P-2/INVESTIGATOR, P-3, P-4 AND
FIRE FIGHTER TRAINEE
P-5, P-6, P-7, FIRE MARSHAL AND TRAINING OFFICER
Section Three of Resolution 6429 is being amended to reflect the above Council actions.
As reflected in the attached resolution, the Personnel Department was directed by the Mayor
and Common Council to amend Resolution No. 6429.

3 POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO."
4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
5 OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
6 Resolution No. 6429, Section 3, is hereby amended effective August 1, 1993, to read
as follows:

"Section 3. The basic compensation plan shall consist of the various schedules
8 hereinafter established in this section for a monthly salary.
