Synopsis of Previous Council Action:
None.
Background:
The annual rent for Dorothy Inghram Library is $30,828 and the library budget needs
amended to increase funding for Account 105-470-0064-5171 - Rentals -to meet this obligation.
The Friends of the Dorothy Inghram Library made a donation to the San Bernardino
Public Library in the amount of$10,000 for the purpose of assisting the Library with the costs of
renting the real property used for the Dorothy Inghram Branch Library.
The Library requests that the Director of Finance or his designee be hereby authorized
and directed to perform a budget transfer in the amount of $10,000 from Library Donations
Account #105-470-0000-4698 to Library Branch Services - Rentals Account #105-470-0064-
5171 and approval of an annual purchase order not to exceed $30,828 with New Hope
Missionary Baptist Church for Library rent.
