Starting her at step 9 is only 5.5% more than her current salary and she will be accepting significantly more responsibility in her new role. E The Code Enforcement Division is being realigned and reintegrated with the Community Development Department. The Code Enforcement Division Manager will be a critical position in Q the overall structure of the Department. The position will be also coordinate activities with the Police and Fire Departments. Staff considered contracting for services but given the level of decision making authority, contracting for services was not considered viable. Not filling this position would severely limit the functioning of the Code Enforcement operations of the City. Packet Pg. 336
