On July 6, 1993 the Community Development Commission authorized staff to issue a Request for
Qualifications/Invitation to Bid for general contracting services providing preconstruction and construction
services for the new Central Police Facility.

REQUEST_FOR UALIFICATIONS/INVITATION TO BID
As approved by the Commission on July 6, 1993, a Request For Quo i bons (18)itation firms to
Bid (RFQ) was advertised for general contracting services. A tot eighteen
provided information for Phase I, the Contractors Pre-Qualification Phase. Two firms were
determined to be nonresponsive, one for submitting after a period had expired information. for
