Description) Traffic Signal at 34th Street & "E" Street Finance: Council Notes: 75-0262 Agenda Item No. CITY OF SAN EERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT The State-Local Transportation Partnership Program was adopted to make funds available for partnership projects that do not use State or Federal dollars. It is designed for the improvement of the roadway system and is reimbursement monies to the City for funds expended to complete roadway improvement projects that have been funded with the City' s own funds (local monies) . The amount of the participation varies with the number of projects completed and eligible each year. The installation of traffic signals at "E" Street and 34th Street is an eligible project, as it was funded with SB 300 funds. Staff had submitted it for participation and the State has now responded. A Program Supplement is needed to obligate State partnership funds and prepare for the release of funds to the Citv. The total project cost was estimated at $102 , 879 . 00 . The reimbursement from the State will be $6 , 049 . 00 , based upon the current participation ratio of 5 . 88% . We recommend that Program Supplement No. 14 be approved. 4-1-96
