A total of 6 bids were received, ranging from $24 , 276 . 40 to $115 , 633 . 00 . The low bidder failed to acknowledge receipt of Addendum No. One, which renders it invalid. The second low bid is in the amount of $28 , 137 . 95 . Below is an estimate of the total project cost, based upon the actual second low bid price: Construction Contract $ 28 , 137 . 95 Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #7040) 1 , 470 . 00 Sub-Total $ 29 , 607 . 95 Contingencies (150) ± 4 ,492 . 05 TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 34 , 100 . 00 All costs incurred for this project will be charged to Account No. 242--362-5504-7040 , and billed to the IVDA.
