,CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
In 1975 the City entered into an Agreement for
Maintenance of conventional State Highways within the City
limits.
At the Council meeting of 2-10-84 , two resolutions were
adopted, authorizing execution of two (2) agreements with the
Department of Transportation. The first resolution, No. 84-58 ,
was for sharing of costs for electrical facilities on State
Highways , while the second, No. 84-59 , was for maintenance work
by the City of State Highways. These agreements superceded the
one approved in 1975 .
A new agreement was recently negotiated with the Depart-
ment of Transportation for maintenance work by the City on State
Highways. This agreement will supercede the one approved by
Resolution No. 84-59 . However, the resolution authorizing
execution of this replacement agreement, No. 97-267 ,
inadvertently rescinded Resolution No. 84-58 .
The proposed resolution will incorporate the correct
reference to the one adopted in 1984 .
We recommend that the proposed resolution be approved.
