(#3276) Current Business Registration Certificate: Not Applicable Financial Impact: There is no financial impact to update the resolution. Impacted Departments will absorb the proposed salary, increases in the respective 2014-15 budgets. Motion: Adopt the Resolution. Synopsis of Previous Council Action: On January 9, 2008 the Mayor and Common Council adopted Resolution No. 2008-20, a Resolution of the City of San Bernardino amending Resolution 6413, Section Thirteen, Temporary/Part-Time Employees, entitled "A Resolution...establishing a basic compensation plan..." by updating and codifying prior Council actions. Background: The amendment to Section Thirteen of Resolution No. 6413 will incorporate the mandated minimum wage increase effective July 1, 2014, and codify prior Council actions. Additionally, increases have been proposed for positions that will be affected by compaction due to the implementation of the minimum wage increase. Part-time positions with full-time equivalent classifications will receive the same hourly rate.
