President of the San Bernardino County Federation of Republican Women.
Served as President of the Laguna Niguel Republican Federated Women in Orange
County were I was also a member of the Washington Club---a group of Republican
women who have served or were presently serving in public elected office or on
appointed state or federal commissions and committees or serving in the party in an
official position.
Served as an elected trustee on the San Bernardino Unified School District. Served
as a San Bernardino City Councilwoman. After moving to Orange County, was
F appointed by Governor George Deukmejian's as his public representative to the
Intergovernmental Advisory Council for Alcohol, Drugs, and Traffic Safety.

Responsible for buying soft and hard goods,hiring,sales,inventory control,accounts receivables and
payables and marketing and advertising. This included organizing and conducting educational
seminars for expectant mothers and fathers.
COUNCILWOMEN-CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
Elected City Councilwoman from the 4th Ward
Worked with a$43 million dollar city budget. Extensive policy development and over-seeing of its
implementation. Worked to improve communications and cooperation between intergovernmental
units as well as the business community. Worked closely with the San Bernardino Police Department
and other law enforcement agencies on drug and crime control.
BOARD OF EDUCATION-CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
Elected as Trustee of the San Bernardino Unified School District
Serving four years on the Board of Education provided excellent opportunities in budgeting($75
million dollar budget),policy setting during the integration/desegregation years. Worked to bring the
business and educational corrununities together in a cooperative working effort. Worked closely with
parent/teacher groups communicating with them regularly throughout the District.
GOVERNOR GEORGE DEUKMEJIAN'S APPOINTEE TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL
ADVISORY COUNCIL FOR ALCOHOL,DRUGS AND TRAFFIC SAFETY
Served on this committee for two years, working with the Governor's Department and Agency
Heads.
Met on a monthly basis,in Sacramento,working on drug,alcohol and traffic safety issues both at the
state and local level.
