Description) CFD 995 Appraisal Fees Finance: Council Notes: II LA7 11-03-97 Agenda Item No. aq CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION_ STAFF REPORT The city recently acquired the subject property through a foreclosure action, which became necessary as a result of the property owner defaulting on assessment payments for Community Facilities District No. 995 (Verdemont Infrastructure Fees). The subject property is located in the Northwest part of the City, generally Northeast of the 1-215 Freeway and Northwest of Little League Drive, consisting of approximately 99.5 acres of undeveloped land. There has been some interest from a few developers in acquiring this land from the City. Before the City can proceed with selling this property, an appraisal needs to be done. Request for Proposals will be sent to various appraisers in the area. Once an appraisal has been acquired, staff will prepare bid specifications and advertise for competitive bids.
