The Finance Department has Keen-faced with several significant challenges ofer the last
two years; one being the loss of key finance staff that resulted in nine vacancies. To
help fill this void, Ellen Rumple began serving as a Finance intern in July 2013. During her
internship, Ellen has gained knowledge of the City's finance processes.
The Department currently has two (2) budgeted, full-time Accounting Assistant
positions, one of which Ellen has been provisionally filling since December 2013, The

Maria Pacewiczh voluntary demoted to a Community Service Officer II position due to a work
force reduction on 11/21/12. Her former position as an Executive Assistant will become
available on 3/24/14,with the retirement of Linda Molina. Civil Service has verified Maria
Pacewiczh has rights to the position if made available and she has accepted.
