Museum "Evening at the Museum" event would be held at the Norton Regional Center at
1601 E. Third Street on December 11, 2013, at 7:30 p.m.

Betty Jean Long, San Bernardino, complained about the Mayor voting and said she had a
some secrets that she would keep a little bit longer.
Robert Porter, San Bernardino, discussed the five future visions for the future of San
Bernardino: 1) the gateway to Southern California's diverse biosphere; 2) the business
and transportation hub of Southern California; 3) aeronautical training, engineering and
mechanical cohort of businesses and universities; 4) the land of extreme hiking, biking,
aerosports, including hang gliding, skiing and geocaching; and 5) the historic land of
mega parks and historic traditions. He asked the Mayor and Council to find alternatives
to selling the City's parks, its fire and police departments, and the Ho Ho Parade.

Jay Lindberg, San Bernardino, said the council supported increases to the salaries in the
Police Department because they said they didn't have a choice—but they did have a
choice—it's called breaking the law and forcing the issue to a head.

Scott Olson, San Bernardino, stated that San Bernardino used to be the "All American
City,"but now it seems like we want to be the city that gives it all away.
Pastor Jones, San Bernardino, stated that he'd like to see more sidewalks and more
lighting in some of the darker areas of the City; said he will be voting for Carey Davis for
Mayor; and asked if city officials had a chance to look at how the seniors are being M
treated at the senior housing apartment at Fifth and"F" Streets. N

Ericka Flores, San Bernardino, a community organizer with the Center for Community
Action and Environmental Justice (CCAJ), spoke about their partnership with Arrowhead 0)
Regional Medical Center, the county hospital that brings a mobile health clinic to the o
Ruben Campos Community Center. She stated that the clinic has not been there for the
last two months because the contract needs to be signed by the City and asked if there
was anything their organization could do to speed up the process.
Sandra Olivas, San Bernardino, announced the date and time of the next meeting of the
San Bernardino Historical and Pioneer Society; stated that Pioneer Days would be held at o
the Santa Fe Depot on January 18, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m; and voiced her concerns v
regarding a new pot store on Baseline near Gina's.

Al Palazzo, stated that he has been developing a vision for San Bernardino for several �
years but was not surprised he was not invited to a recent meeting about the Mayor's =i
vision for the City. He said he grew up here, he loves the City of San Bernardino, and he -i
wants to give something back. co

Tower Apartments received a new lease agreement that includes violations of their civil
rights.
Dwight Martin, San Bernardino, asked the Council to stick to their word and the
promises that were made to the residents of the Meadowbrook Apartments.
0 Victor Brown, Meadowbrook Apartments, spoke about the rules and regulations in the
new lease agreement.

Don Levin, Meadowbrook Apartments, spoke about the new regulations on pest control,
dress code and moving that are contained in the new lease agreement.
Marva Smith, Meadowbrook Apartments, stated that she received a lease violation and a
60-day notice to quit accusing her of things she didn't do; and a 24-hour notice to enter
so they could spray the apartment, 14 hours prior to entering.
Pastor Jones, San Bernardino, stated that the residents that live in this building are being
mistreated on a regular basis and their civil rights are being violated. He stated that the
owner is supposed to be giving everybody a voucher so they can move or go to a hotel M
while they are doing the demolition work there, but the owner is trying to figure out a N
way around that by finding little things in the contract that he can use against them.
Pastor John Braxton,Jr., San Bernardino, stated that the residents of the Meadowbrook
Apartments pay their rent and a lot of them are disabled, sick and elderly. o
Jay Lindberg, San Bernardino, spoke about the war on drugs and the death of a parent.
Jose Rex Zsar, San Bernardino, spoke about the banking system and the real economic
stimulus.

Sandra Olivas, San Bernardino, stated that buildings that are demolished should be v
replaced with buildings of similar architectural style.
