Motion: Establish the Background Investigator, Part-time, position, Range PT, $30.00 - $35.00 per hour; Authorize the Human Resources Division Manager to update Resolution No. 2008-20 to reflect this action; and Authorize the Director of Administrative Services to amend the FY 2013/14 budget to reflect this action. Synopsis of Previous Council Action: On June 27, 2013, the Personnel Committee meeting was cancelled; however, the Chairman recommended that this item be forward to Mayor and Common Council for approval/adoption. On August 5, 2013, Mayor and Common Council approved the job description, but the position was not officially established. Background: On August 5, 2013, Mayor and Common Council approved the job description for the position of Background Investigator, Part-time; however, the request to "establish" the position was inadvertently omitted from the formal motion. Therefore, this item is, again, brought before the Mayor and Common Council for formal acceptance to complete the process.
