(#2405) Current Business Registration Certificate: Not Applicable Financial Impact: The total assessment of$2,208,153.76 pays the City's maintenance, operation and incidental costs for the various districts. If the assessments are not approved, the City will not be reimbursed for the costs. The general benefit amount of$27,943.54 from various districts as shown on the attached report,will not be reimbursed from the Assessment Districts for FY 2013/2014, as these amounts are determined to be general benefit and therefore not assessable, and will be paid for from the General Fund. Assessment deficits for sixteen Districts, as set forth below,total$118.752.49. Motion: Adopt the Resolution. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and determine that 10 11 the assessments as set forth on said Assessment Roll No. 962, are hereby exempt from the LO 0 It 12 procedural and approval requirements of Article X111 D of the California Constitution, as N. C4 13 provided for under Section 5(a) of said Article X111 D, and that the assessment amounts as set 14 forth on said Assessment Roll are equal to or less than any prior approved assessments. .2 15 SECTION 2. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and determine that 0 16 the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of land within Assessment District No. 17 E 18 962 are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll No. 962, for the fiscal year 2013/2014, on file in 19 the office of the City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino, and do hereby confirm said 20 assessments. 21 SECTION 3. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this Resolution to be 22 23 transmitted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller for the County of San Bernardino with the 24 request that the individual assessments be placed on the subject 2013/2014 property tax bills 25 for collection together with all other property taxes. 26 27 ;8 2 PAtket 32?
