Background: Due to the departure of our current Building Official it is necessary to hire a consultant to serve as the Code Administrator(Building Official) and to provide direction and knowledge to staff on an on-call basis, as required by the California Building Code Section 130 et seq. The Department solicited proposals from three companies; of these three companies, two are located in the City of San Bernardino and one is located in the County of San Bernardino.
