HomeMy WebLinkAbout2013-013 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2013-13 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ADOPTING THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL PROJECT NEEDS ANALYSIS (2013-2018) FOR MEASURE I 3 2010-2040 EXPENDITURES. 4 WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved passage of Measure I 2010-2040 5 in November 2004, authorizing San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), acting 6 as the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority, to impose a one-half of one percent 7 retail transactions and use tax applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated territory of 8 9 the County of San Bernardino; and, 10 WHEREAS, revenue from the tax can only be used for transportation improvements 11 and traffic management programs authorized in the Expenditure Plans set forth in Ordinance 12 No. 04-1 of the Authority; and, 13 WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan requires each local jurisdiction applying for revenue 14 from the Valley Major Street and Freeway Interchange Program to annually adopt and update 15 a Five-Year Capital Project Needs Analysis. 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Council of 17 the City of San Bernardino hereby adopts the Measure I Valley Major Street and Freeway 18 Interchange Program Five-Year Capital Project Needs Analysis for FY 2013-2018, attached 19 and incorporated herein as Exhibit"A". 20 21 /// 22 /// 23 /// 24 /// 25 /// 26 /// 27 /// 28 2013-13 1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ADOPTING THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL PROJECT NEEDS ANALYSIS (2013-2018) FOR MEASURE I 2 2010-2040 EXPENDITURES. 3 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the Mayor and 4 Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a joint regular meeting 5 thereof, held on the 22nd day of January , 2013, by the following vote, to wit: 6 7 Council Members: AYES NAYS ABSTAIN ABSENT 8 MARQUEZ x 9 JENKINS x 10 VALDIVIA x 11 12 SHORETT x 13 KELLEY x 14 JOHNSON x 15 MCCAMMACK x 16 c� Georgeann Hanna, ity Clerk 18 19 The foregoing resolution is hereby approved this 2-2— day of January , 2013. 20 21 '.
