(See Attached) MOTION: That the personnel actions submitted by the Chief Examiner dated June 29, 1998, in accordance with Civil Service rules and Personnel policies adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino, be approved and ratified. City Administrator's Office 10. Resolution of the City of San Bernardino supporting the repeal of booking fees in San Bernardino County. (See Attached) (No cost to the City.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. 4 7/6/1998 11. Resolution of the City of San Bernardino approving an agreement with Liebert, Cassidy 8v Frierson for Labor Relations Training Services. (See Attached) (Cost to the City -- $1,700 from the General Fund.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. San Bernardino Employment & Training Agency 12. Resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino authorizing the Mayor of the City of San Bernardino to sign Addendum 1 to the Sublease dated March 4, 1998 by and between the County of San Bernardino and the City of San Bernardino Employment and Training Agency. (See Attached) (No cost to the City.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. Finance Department 13. Resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino accepting lease purchase master agreement for First Municipal Leasing Corporation for the furnishing of lease purchase financing. (See Attached) (No cost to the City.) (Resolution not available at time of printing.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. M.I.S. 14. Resolution of the City of San Bernardino authorizing a Fiscal Year 98/99 maintenance services agreement with Datamax Technologies, Inc., for maintenance of imaging equipment and software for the City of San Bernardino. (See Attached) (Cost to the City -- $52,428 from the Management Information Systems Fund.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. 15. Resolution of the City of San Bernardino authorizing a Fiscal Year 98/99 maintenance services agreement with the County of San Bernardino for maintenance of 800 Mhz voice and data backbone and user radio equipment. (See Attached) (Cost to the City -- $199,142 from the Management Information Systems Fund.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. 5 7/6/1998 16. Resolution of the City of San Bernardino awarding a contract in the amount of$34,112.00 to the County of San Bernardino for lease of 7 full height racks and 17 circuits for the Fiscal Year 98/99. (See Attached) (Cost to the City -- $34,112 from the Management Information Systems Fund.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. 17. Resolution of the City of San Bernardino awarding a purchase order in the amount of$36,000 to the County of San Bernardino for time and materials maintenance of City owned radios and miscellaneous public safety equipment. (See Attached) (Cost to the City -- $36,000 from the Management Information Systems Fund.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. 18. Resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino authorizing a first quarter of Fiscal Year 98/99 maintenance contract with Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), for month-to-month maintenance of the City's computer and networking hardware and operating system software. (See Attached) (Cost to the City -- $44,000 from the Management Information Systems Fund.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. Parks, Recreation & Community Services 19. Resolution of the City of San Bernardino awarding a purchase agreement to R. P. Landscape & Irrigation for the furnishing and delivery of landscape maintenance services for a period of three years beginning on July 1, 1998 and terminating on June 30, 2001, to be utilized by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department in accordance with Bid Specification F-99-08, Annexes A, C, E, and F. (See Attached) (Cost to the City for FY 98/99 -- $157,536 -- total cost for the three year contract is $472,608 from the General Fund.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. 6 7/6/1998 20. Resolution of the City of San Bernardino awarding a purchase agreement to Van Herricks Landscape Maintenance for the furnishing and delivery of landscape maintenance services for a period of three years beginning on July 1, 1998 and terminating on June 30, 2001, to be utilized by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department in accordance with Bid Specification F-99-08, Annexes B and D. (See Attached) (Cost to the City -- $132,956 - total cost for the three year contract is $398,868 from the General Fund.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. Public Services 21. Set public hearing - July 20, 1998 - 10:00 a.m., relative to fees and rates for the collection of refuse, green waste and recyclables. (See Attached) MOTION: That a public hearing be set for 10:00 a.m., July 20, 1998, to consider adoption of a resolution establishing the fees and rates to be charged for the collection of refuse, green waste and recyclables. 22. A resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino, California, awarding an annual purchase order to Kawasaki of Riverside for parts and services to be utilized by the Fleet Division of Public Services Department of the City of San Bernardino. (See Attached) (Cost to the City -- $30,000 from the Motor Pool Fund.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. 23. A resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino, California, awarding an annual purchase order to Fairview Ford for maintenance, services and parts to be utilized by the Fleet Division of Public Services Department of the City of San Bernardino. (See Attached) (Cost to the City -- $64,000 from the Motor Pool Fund.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. 7 7/6/1998 24. A resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino, California, awarding an annual purchase order to Kaman Industrial Technologies Corporation for hydraulic hoses and fittings and bearings utilized by the Fleet Division of Public Services Department of the City of San Bernardino. A resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino awarding an annual purchase order to California Turf for maintenance materials, supplies and service to be utilized by the Fleet Division of Public Services Department. (See Attached) (Cost to the City -- $32,000 from the Motor Pool Fund.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. 26. A resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino, California, awarding an annual purchase order to Amrep for maintenance, materials and services to be utilized by the Fleet Division of Public Services Department of the City of San Bernardino. (See Attached) (Cost to the City -- $124,000 from the Motor Pool Fund.) MOTION: That said resolution be adopted. Public Works/Engineering LAID OVER FROM JUNE 15, 1998 27. Ordinance of the City of San Bernardino amending Chapter 10.52. of the San Bernardino Municipal Code establishing a thirty-five mile per hour speed limit on Second Street between the I-215 Freeway and Arrowhead Avenue, a thirty-five mile per hour speed limit on Sixth Street between "H" Street and Sierra Way, a forty mile per hour speed limit on California Street between Base Line Street and Cajon Boulevard, and a forty-five mile per hour speed limit on Fortieth Street between Kendall Drive and Electric Avenue. Any member of the public desiring to speak to the Mayor and Common Council/Community Development Commission concerning any matter not on the agenda but which is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Mayor and Common Council/Community Development Commission, may address the body at the beginning of the meeting, during the period reserved for public comments. Said total period for public comments shall not exceed forty-five (45) minutes, unless such time limit is extended by the Mayor and Common Council/Community Development Commission.
