RESOLUTION NO. 5280
RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO,
CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION LEVELS
AND SALARY RANGES FOR EMPLOYEES ENGAGED IN
ACTIVITIES FOR THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
AGENCY
WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino (the "City") has
caused a restructuring of its Community Development Department
and the Community Development Commission of the City of San
Bernardino (the "Commission") in order to promote the goals and
activities of community and economic development and
redevelopment activities within the City; and
WHEREAS, the Commission deems it desirable at this time
Ito establish new compensation levels and salary ranges for
various employees of the Economic Development Agency (the
~"Agency") by a separate Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Commission deems it desirable to approve
the compensation levels and corresponding salary ranges as set
forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by
'this reference in connection with the staffing of the Economic
Development Agency; and
WHEREAS, the designation of employee steps within the
salary ranges for various compensation levels shall be undertaken

by the Agency Administrator upon the recommendation of the
Executive Director of the Development Department; and
WHEREAS, the Commission deems it desirable to delegate
to the Chairman of the Commission the authority to independently
set the compensation level and corresponding salary range for the
Agency Administrator.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Commission hereby approves the
compensation levels and corresponding salary ranges as set forth
on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference pertaining to the various employees who shall be
employed by the Agency.
Section 2. The designation of a step within a
salary range for any given employee at any applicable
compensation level shall be undertaken by the Agency
Administrator upon recommendation of the Executive Director of
,the Development Department.
Section 3. The Commission hereby delegates to the
Chairman of the Commission, the authority to set the compensation
level and salary ranges for the Agency Administrator.

Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect upon
its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the Community Development Commission of the City of
San Bernardino at a Regular meeting
