RESOLUTION NO. 5535
RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO,
ON BEHALF OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, APPROVING A
CERTAIN IMPLEMENTATION PLAN REVIEW REPORT
FOR THE VARIOUS REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
AREAS OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO

WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino, California (City) is a municipal corporation and
a charter city duly created and existing pursuant to the Constitution and the laws of the State of
California; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Commission of the City of San Bernardino
(Commission), on behalf ofthe Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Bernardino (Agency),
is a redevelopment agency, a public body, corporate and politic of the State of California,
organized and existing pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law (part 1 of Division 24)
commencing with Section 33000 ofthe Health and Safety code of the State of California (Act);
and

WHEREAS, the City and the Commission have previously approved and adopted
Redevelopment Plans (collectively hereinafter referred to as the "Redevelopment Plans") for
various redevelopment project areas within the City which project areas include: The Central
City Project Area, Central City North Project Area, Central City West Project Area, Tri-City
Project Area, Southeast Industrial Park Redevelopment Project Area, South Vaile Project Area,
State College Project Area, Northwest Project Area, Uptown Project Area, and the Mt. Vernon
Corridor Project Area (collectively hereinafter referred to as the "Project Areas"); and
WHEREAS, Section 33490 ofthe Act, which was added by Assembly Bill 1290 enacted
on January 1, 1994, requires that the Agency prepare and adopt an Implementation Plan every
five (5) years which contains the specific goals and objectives of the Agency for its project areas,

which Implementation Plan is to include the specific programs and estimated expenditures of the
Agency as well as its low and moderate income housing program; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has approved an Implementation Plan which sets forth the
requirements of Assembly Bill 1290 for each of the Agency's Project Areas; and
WHEREAS, Section 33490 ofthe Act, requires that every Agency shall, at least once
within the five (5) year term of the Implementation Plan, conduct a public hearing and hear
testimony of all interested parties for the purpose of reviewing the redevelopment plan and the
corresponding implementation. plan for each redevelopment project within the jurisdiction and
evaluating the progress of the redevelopment project; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has prepared an Implementation Plan Review Report in
11 accordance with the Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION ACTING
ON BEHALF OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Agency, having held a duly noticed public hearing in accordance with
Health and Safety Code Section 33490, hereby finds and determines that the Implementation
Plan Review Report has been prepared in accordance with the Act.
Section 2. The Agency hereby approves the Implementation Plan Review Report, a
copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 3. The findings and determinations herein shall be fmal and conclusive.
This Resolution shall take effect upon the date of its adoption.
