RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNAJIDINO AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH DALLAS WARD
RELATING TO THE PROVIDING OF PERSONAL SERVICES FOR THE
EXAMINATION OF, AND THE COMPILATION OF INFORMATION FROM, CHP
CITATIONS.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is
hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said
City a second amendment to agreement with Dallas Ward relating
to the providing of personal services for the examination of,
and the compilation of information from, CHP citations, a copy
of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit nAil and incorporated

herein by reference as fully as though set forth at length.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly

THIS SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
is made and entered

1976, by and between the CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, a

corporation, hereinafter called "City", and DALLAS WARD, herein-
after called "Consultant".

WIT N E SSE T H:

WHEREAS, City and Consultant entered into a written agree-
ment on July 17, 1974, for personal consulting services relating
to the examination of, and the compilation of information from,
CHP citations; and

WHEREAS, City and Consultant extended said agreement for
an additional one year term from July 1, 1975 to June 30, 1976
by a First Amendment to Agreement dated August 12, 1975; and
WHEREAS~ City and Consultant mutually desire to extend the
term of said agreement for an additional one year from July 1,
1976 to June 30, 1977, upon the same terms and conditions,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed between the parties
hereto as follows:
1. That certain agreement by and between the parties
hereto dated July 17, 1974, and amended August 12, 1975, is
hereby extended for an additional one year period commencing on
July 1, 1976 and terminating on June 30, 1977.
2. Paragraph 1, Section (d) of that prior agreement is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"(d) Provide such personal services from July 1, 1976 to
June 30, 1977 provided that either party may terminate this

1 agreement by giving the other party a fifteen (15) day written
2 notice and this agreement shall terminate fifteen (15) days
3 thereafter. "

3. All other covenants, conditions, .terms and provisions
of said prior agreement shall remain the same and remain in full
force and effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this
Second Amendment to Agreement the day and year first above
