Ie ii I i I II j; i; Ij RESOLUTION NO. / ~~LJ f? 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ACCEPTING THE REVIEW APPRAISER'S DETERMINATION OF FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE FIRE 3 STATION SITUATED AT 21ST AND MUSCOTT STREETS, SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA, AND CERTIFYING THE WORK OF THE APPRAISERS. 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 Ii WHEREAS, City of San Bernardino Ii purchase of a fire station at 21st and H ',of San Bernardino; and I I I , is contemplating the Muscott Streets in the City WHEREAS, the City owns the land upon which the fire station is constructed, but the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San I IBernardino is the owner of the building on said land; and WHEREAS, the City desires to now purchase the said building on said land; and WHEREAS, City has reviewed the appraisers' determination of the fair market value of the building and their reports thereon and has specifically reviewed and studied the review appraiser's determination of the fair market value and his report thereon; and WHEREAS, the City intends to purchase said fire station with Community Development funds, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS: 1. That said fire station owned by the Redevelopment Agenc 22 of the City of San Bernardino situated upon real property in the 23 City of San Bernardino at 2121 Muscott Street and described as 24 follows: 25 All that real property in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows: 26 27 28 The south 150 feet of the west 250 feet of Lot 1 of Tract No. 2852, per map recorded in Book 40 of Maps, pages 29 and 30, in the Office of the county Recorder of said County; said measurements being along the west , . 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 j I! :' and south lines, respectively, of said Lot 1. Containing 0.86 of an acre, more or less, is hereby determined, based upon all of the appraisers' reports submitted herewith, to have a fair market value of $114,000.00, and said amount is hereby established as the fair market value for said property. 2. The property being acquired is that fire station only on the property hereinabove described and does not include the land which is already owned by the City. 3. The City of San Bernardino does hereby certify that the work of the appraisers and review appraiser' with respect to the aforesaid property has been performed in a competent manner in accordance with the applicable State law, the Act, and Department of Housing and Urban Development policies and requirements.
