2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ACCEPTING THE
REVIEW APPRAISER'S DETERMINATION OF FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE FIRE
3 STATION SITUATED AT KENDALL DRIVE, SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA, AND
CERTIFYING THE WORK OF THE APPRAISERS.

WHEREAS, City of San Bernardino is contemplating the
purchase of a fire station at 1640 Kendall Drive in the City of
San Bernardino; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San
Bernardino is the owner of the lot and parcel of real property and
fire station situated thereon; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to now purchase the said lot and
parcel of real property and fire station; apd

WHEREAS, City has reviewed the appraisers' determination of
the fair market value of the land and building thereon and their
reports thereon and has specifically reviewed and studied the
review appraiser's determination of the fair market value and his
report thereon; and
WHEREAS, the City intends to purchase said lot and parcel
of real property and fire station with Community Development

funds,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
1. That said lot and parcel of real property and fire
24 station situated thereon owned by the Redevelopment Agency of the
25 City of San Bernardino situated upon real property in the City of
26 San Bernardino at 1640 Kendall Drive and described as follows:
27 All that real property in the County of San Bernardino,
State of California, described as follows:

Those portions of Lots 3, 4 and 5 of wi~gins Tract,
as per plat recorded in Book 3 of Maps, page 74,
records of said County, located and lying north of
the northerly line of that certain strip of land
10.00 feet wide as granted and conveyed to the state
of California, by deed recorded May 27, 1947, in Book
2054, page 396, Official Records, said strip of land
10.00 feet wide being located northerly of, parallel
to and contiguous with that certain 80 foot right of
way known as Kendall Drive as conveyed to the County
of san Bernardino by deed recorded November 13, 1925
in Book 39, page 57, Official Records, more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most westerly corner of said pro-
perties, thence south 60 degrees 34' 56" east 691.56'
to the true point of beginning; thence from said
true of beginning north 0 degrees 4' 37" west 438'
more or less; thence south 89 degrees 55' 23" west
150'; thence south 0 degrees 4' 37" east 353.22' to
the north line of Kendall Drive as established by
deed recorded May 27,. 1947 in Book 2054, page 396
of official records; thence easterly along said
northerly right of way line 172.3' on a bearing of
south 60 degrees 34' 56" east to the true point of
beginning,
is hereby determined, based upon all of the appraisers' reports
submitted herewith, to have a fair market value of $129,000.00,
and said amount is hereby established as the fair market value for
said property.
2. The City of San Bernardino does hereby certify that
the work of the appraisers and the review appraiser with respect
to the lot and parcel of real property and fire station situated
thereon has been performed in a competent manner in accordance
with the applicable State law, the Act, and Department of Housing
and Urban Development policies and requirements.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a
