RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO GIVING NOTICE AND
INVITING COMPETITIVE BIDS FOR THE SALE, LEASE OR EXCHANGE OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY, GENERALLY LOCATED WITHIN
BE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY AND CONSTITUTING THREE SEPARATE
PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY; ESTABLISHING A MINIMUM SALE PRICE FOR
SAID PROPERTY; AND REPEALING PORTIONS OF RESOLUTION NO. 12331 IN-
CONSISTENT HEREWITH. -
WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino, a municipal corporatio ,
is the owner of the hereinafter described parcels of real property

and determine that there is no further need or
necessity for the use of said real property by the City; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino believe it to be in the best interest of the City that
said parcels of real property be sold, leased or exchanged at the
ost advantageous terms available on the open market.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Notice is hereby given inviting competitive
id proposals for the sale, lease or exchange of the following
parcels of real property and improvements thereon, if any, and
generally described as follows:
Parcel No. 2 - Unused fire station site located at 1505
North Waterman Avenue including land and structures in the City
of San Bernardino.
Parcel No. 6 - A triangular ~cel of vacant land located
at Rialto Avenue and Belleview S~ in the City of San Bernardin .
Parcel No. 7 - A trian_ t~ parcel of vacant land located
at Rialto Avenue and Arrow ~ in the City of San Bernardino.

1 SECTION 2. The minimum acceptable bid for said property to
2 be sold, leased or exchanged is established as follows:
3 Parcel No. 2 - $50,000.00;
4 Parcel No.6 - $4,750.00;
5 Parcel No.7 - $1,055.00.
6 SECTION 3. Each competitive bid or proposal shall be
7 delivered to the office of the City Administrator, City Hall, on
8 'or before the hour of 2:00 p.m., April 30, 1976 at which time said
9 sealed bids or proposals shall be opened and publicly declared.
10 Said bids and proposals shall be accompanied by cash or check
11 payable to the City of San Bernardino'in an amount of 10% of the
12 amount bid. The City shall formulate its determinations on or
13 before May 3, 1976. The results of said bidding shall be sub-
14 mitted for consideration at the next regular meeting of the Mayor
15 and Common Council on May 3, 1976, at the hour of 9:30 a.m., at
16 the Council Chambers, City Hall, 300 North "0" Street, San
17 Bernardino, California, at which time the Mayor and Common Council
18 may receive oral bids therefor provided said oral bids are in
19 increments of $250.00 over and above the highest written bid
20 submitted or the prior oral bid, or in the event there are no
21 written bids, in $250.00 increments above the amount established
22 herein for the minimum acceptable bid or prior oral bid. Oral
23 bidding shall be conducted in increments of $250.00 and bids of
24 less than $250.00 increments shall not be considered acceptable.
25 Oral bidders shall, if their oral bids are acceptable by the
26 Mayor and Common Council, deliver forthwith to the City their
27 cash or check in an amount of 10% of such oral bidding. Oral bid-
28 ding shall be continued in the aforesaid $250.00 increments until

1 the property is sold at the highest price. Amounts paid to satisf
2 the requirement of 10% of the bid as a deposit shall be refunded
3 to the non-successful bidders.
4 SECTION 4. Attention of bidders is directed to "Descriptio
5 of property, requirements of bidders, requirements of sale and the
6 official bid form" which may be obtained at the office of the
7 Director of Public Works/City Engineer, Real Property Section,
8 Room 405, City Hall, 300 North "D" Street, San Bernardino,
9 California.
10 SECTION 5. All written bids or proposals shall be signed,
11 sealed and delivered. No bid proposal which fails to bid an
12 amount equal to or greater than the minimum acceptable bid price
13 established herein or which is filed at a later time or at a
1~ different place or with a different person than r~quired shall be
15 valid or considered for award unless there is substantial com-
16 pliance herewith as determined by the City Administrator in his
17 sole discretion; and the Mayor and Common Council reserve the
18 right to reject any or all bid proposals for any reason.
19 SECTION 6. This resolution shall be posted on or near the
20 door of the Council Chamber, City Hall, San Bernardino,
21 California, and information concerning the locations and minimum
22 bid prices .of the parcels shall be published not less than once
23 at least five;X6) days prior to the date for filing bid proposals
24 with the City Administrator, in the Real Estate Section of the
2S San Bernardino Sun-Telegram, a newspaper of general circulation,
26 published and circulated in said City.
27 SECTION 7. All portions of Resolution No. 12331 as amended
28 by Resolution No. 12360 relating to the sale of the parcels of

1 real property provided for herein, to wit: Parcel No.2, Parcel
2 No. 6 and Parcel No. 7 are hereby repealed.
3 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
