HomeMy WebLinkAbout12392 .. ." .. : I RESOLUTION NO. /'..2... ~9d _ 1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO FIXING AND ESTABLISHING CHARGES FOR SERVICES AND FACILITIES FURNISHED BY THE CITY SEWERAGE SYSTEM. 2 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN 3 BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 4 SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 2175 of the City 5 of San Bernardino, any premises which are served by a connection to the system "..--6- I"of sewerage and waste water treatment of the City or which are within 200 feet 7 of and situated on real property adjoining an existing sewer system and not 8 connected thereto but served by City water shall be charged and the owner 9 thereof shall pay a sewer service charge based upon the following schedule: 10 1. For each single family dwelling, the sum of three dollars and thirty 11 cents ($3.30) per month. 12 2. For each single family dwelling in any duplex, triplex, court and 13 ~partment building, the sum of three dollars and thirty cents ($3.30) per 14 month per dwelling unit. 15 3. For each hotel or motel the sum of three dollars and thirty cents 16 ($3.30) per month plus one dollar and sixteen cents ($1.16) for each dwelling 17 unit maintained for rental. 18 4. For each rooming house, the sum of three dollars and thirty cents 19 ($3.30) per month plus one dollar and sixteen cents ($1.16) for each room 20 maintained for rental in excess of four rooms. 21 22 23 5. For each establishment engaged in the business of manufacturing, railroading, warehousing, processing or wholesaling and each public utility, governmental agency, banking institution, local or national non-profit 24 25 26 27 28 29 charitable organization the sum of three dollars and thirty cents ($3.30) per month plus seventeen cents ($ .17) for each full-time employee in excess of ten (10) full-time employees. 6. For each commercial or business establishment not otherwise provided for in this ordinance, the sum of three dollars and thirty cents ($3.30) per month plus thirty three cents ($ .33) for each full-time employee in excess 30 of ten (10) full-time employees. (accessory use) 6 (c) Bars, Beer Taverns, Soda Fountains - three dollars and thirty 7 cents ($3.30) per month plus seventeen cents ($ .17) for each seating capacity 8 in excess of fifteen (15) such seatings. 9 7. For each commercial laundry, launderette, water softener, car wash, 10 the sum of six dollars and sixty cents ($6.60) plus twenty five cents ($ .25) 11 per 100 cubic feet of water used based on the previous month of January use. 12 8. For each school the sum of sixteen dollars and fifty cents ($16.50) 13 per month for each one hundred (100) students, or fraction thereof, in average 14 daily attendance throughout the school year. 15 9. For each church or place of religious worship, the sum of three 16 dollars and thirty cents ($3.30) per month, plus the sum of sixteen dollars 17 and fifty cents ($16.50) per month for each one hundred (100) students or 18 fraction thereof, in average daily attendance throughout the year when a 19 daily school is conducted in connection with such church. 20 10. For each office building the sum of three dollars and thirty cents 21 22 23 ($3.30) per month plus eighty three cents ($ .83) for each room; however, the charges fixed by this subsection shall be applicable only to that portion of any building devoted to offices. 24 25 26 (a) For each office suite situated in any building other than an office building, the sum of three dollars and thirty cents ($3.30) per month. 11. For each hospital, rest home, the sum of three dollars and thirty cents ($3.30) per month plus one dollar and sixteen cents ($1.16) for each patient bed facility. 12. For each trailer camp or trailer park, the sum of three dollars and thirty cents ($3.30) per month plus two dollars and forty eight cents ($2.48) for each available trailer space. 13. For each theater, dance hall, skating rink, pool hall, bowling alley -2- " .' ;.. ._f ~ .. ' -' , " 1 or other places of amusement, the sum of six dollars and sixty cents ($6.60) 2 per month plus thirty three cents ($ .33) for each eating seating facility 3 in excess of fifteen (15) such seatings. 4 14. For each club house, lodge, the sum of six dollars and sixty cents 5 ($6.60) per month plus thirty three cents ($ .33) for each eating seating 6 facility in excess of fifteen (15) such seatings, and plus one dollar and 7 sixteen cents ($1.16) for each bedroom. 8 15. For each bus depot the sum of sixteen dollars and fifty cents ($16.50) 9 per month. 10 SECTION 2.
