2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT WITH FREEMAN E. AND DOROTHY GOODLOE REGARDING THE DEMOLITION OF
3 RESIDENTIAL BUILDING LOCATED AT 1067 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, SAN BERNARDINO,
CALIFORNIA

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
5 BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
6 SECTION 1. The Mayor of San Bernardino is hereby authorized and
7 directed to execute on behalf of said City an agreement with Freeman E.
8 and Dorothy Goodloe regarding the demolition of residential building located
9 at 1067 Pennsylvania Avenue, San Bernardino, California, a copy of which is
10 attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference
11 as fully as though set forth at length~

NOW, THEREFORE, in considaration of the mutual promises,

provisions, agreements and legal detriments herein contained, it

the demolitio~ of the building(s) and structure(s) upon said real
property and shall cause 0.11 holes and foot trenches I if anYI to
be filled and shall caus~: the pro?erty to be placed in a co::dition
so that it will drain to the natural fall of the surrounding
terrain.
3. No costs shall be assessed against Owner(s) personally
or against the property involved for any costs or eXj?enses in-
curred in connection I-lith the demolition of the building.
4. Olmer (s) hereby agrees to the demolition of the build-
ing (s) and structur,~ (s) upon the real property, and does hereby
release the City, its elective and appointive boards, cQl1\inissions,
officers, agents and einployees from any and all claims for
damages as a result of said demolition of said buildin'J(s) and
does, upon completion of the demolition, agree to execute a
general release releasing City from any and all claims in
connection with the abatement.

7. Tirn~ is of the essence with respect to the provisions

8. This agreement shall be binding on and inure to the
18 benefit of the heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and
19 assigns of the parties hereto.
